Reduce the Payroll Tax
We want a general reduction of the social insurance charges by 7.49 percent for a total salary sum of up to SEK 3 million a year.
Reform the Labour Legislation and the Collective Agreements
Private entrepreneurs should never be forced to sign a collective agreement, irrespective of conditions. Do not allow sympathy measures and abolish the unions’ right of veto in contracts. An abolishment of the rules of priority in the Law on Employment Security (LAS) would make the labour market more flexible.
Reduce the Hassle
We urge decision makers to reduce the administrative burden for enterprises. We want to introduce a limit for the administrative costs. All political proposals involving an increase of costs for the enterprises need to be financed by a corresponding reduction in some other area.
Stop Unsound Competition
Many small enterprises are affected by competition from public companies, both national and local. This is not acceptable and needs to be dealt with, by introducing a law making it possible to put these conflicts of competition to trial in court.
Do Not Complicate Public Procurement
We believe that procurement should be kept simple and easily managed, and that supervision of this field needs to be intensified.
Adapt the Social Security System to Entrepreneurs
The general social security system does not cover the entrepreneur’s loss of income when she or he is ill. Therefore, it is of great importance that the Commission of Inquiry’s recommendation to enable for entrepreneurs to stay outside of the general social security system is implemented, complemented by fee reductions big enough for entrepreneurs to save up for their own security.
Streamline the Labour Market
In some sectors companies suffer lack of suitable manpower. The supply of labour can be improved by, among other things, high quality apprenticeship training. A more efficient matching of job seekers and available jobs can be made reality through competition between public employment agencies and private alternatives.
Introduce the Euro
Sweden has chosen to stay outside of the Euro cooperation, which increases the costs for small companies in terms of changing fees and currency insecurity. Further, the non-membership means that Sweden can not affect some for us important financial decisions.
Adapt the Environment and Energy Policy to Small Businesses
We work for an environment and energy policy that is simple and adapted to small businesses, designed to realize ambitions instead of dashing them. The Environmental Legislation is often seen as burdensome, expensive and time-consuming, risking to overturn the environmental work of small business owners, rather than helping them.
Better Communications
Sweden has been lagging behind regarding new investments and maintenance of the transport systems. A higher rate of investment is necessary for future growth and structural change. Företagarna (the Federation of Private Enterprises) pursue two demands: to look over how infrastructure investments ought to be financed and to simplify the planning process.
